Known to many as 'Hats', Ed is an award winning commercial editor with over 20 years experience. With a focus on comedy & dialogue, he has cut with a lot of very funny and talented people. Currently working as a freelance editor, Ed Hats LLC provides clients with a variety of post functions, from pre-production to finishing.

Ed started editing as an assistant at Crew Cuts, MacKenzie Cutler and Red Car. He then became a lead editor at McCann NY cutting spots for Staples, Avis, Verizon, & Intel. In 2012, he joined The Now Corporation where he continued working with McCann as well as clients from Saatchi, Grey, Crispin, Y&R, AFG & Erwin Penland. And as a freelance editor, Ed's attitude and enthusiasm in the edit room have won him a dedicated client following.
